Position # 1: China Oil Market Associate Analyst (Full Time)
Location: Beijing or Shenzhen, China
Experience: Entry level or 1-3 year experiences
Responsibilities
1. Collect, manage, validate and interpret China economic and oil market data with critical thinking, and develop necessary tools and methodology
2. Develop short- and long-term forward looking industry visions, and write concise but well-argued SIA commentaries in English and Chinese
3. Contribute to SIA’s regular publications and consulting projects in English and Chinese
4. Develop relationships with clients and industry contacts, participate in business development when needed

Requirements
1. Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with critical thinking
2. Strong writing skills in English and Chinese a must; good presentation skills a plus
3. Ability to manage complex database and develop models for economic and demand forecasting
4. Strong intellectual curiosity, ability to meet deadlines and desire to exceed expectations
5. Ability to collaborate effectively as well as work independently
6. Meticulous attention to details
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, advanced Excel a must
8. Bachelor’s or higher degrees; overseas study or work experience preferred
9. Relevant experience and skills listed below would be a plus but not required:
a. data mining, modeling, financial analysis
b. Excel VBA, SQL, Illustrator, programing


Position # 2: China Gas Market Associate Analyst (Full Time)
Location: Beijing or Shenzhen, China
Experience: Entry level or 1-3 year experiences
Responsibilities
1. Contribute to SIA’s regular gas market publications in Chinese and English
2. Input, manage, validate and interpret China gas market data with critical thinking
3. Contribute to SIA’s gas-related consulting projects
4. Develop relationships with clients and industry contacts, participate in business development when needed

Requirements
1. Demonstrated interest in energy, economic or policy analysis
2. Strong analytical skills
3. Strong writing skills in both English and Chinese
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Excel
5. Bachelor’s or higher degrees; overseas study or work experience preferred
