    Founded in 1948, IRU has members and activities in more than 100 countries.
    IRU established TIR in 1949 and manages the system to this day.

    Reporting to Communications and Events Manager in China and Southeast Asia,
    this person will be responsible for translating, proofreading content in Chinese
    language for Comms products, website and social media platform to help
    facilitate IRU’s priorities in China and the region. The intern will also work closely
    with IRU Communications in Geneva Headquarters.

    Qualifications for Communications Intern:
    A qualified Communications intern need:
     integrity, sense of strong responsibility and team work spirit; attention to
    details;
     bachelor degree or above in English literature; background in
    communications/media is a plus;
     mandarin mother tongue, excellent command of written English and Chinese
    is a must;
     strong communication and interpersonal skills;
     demonstrated knowledge of CMS and Drupple is a plus;
     ability to support an inclusive environment where diverse viewpoints are
    encouraged and valued;

    Responsibilities:
    As a qualified Communications intern, you will:
     write, edit, translate, polish and maintain contents for all IRU channels in
    Chinese language, including IRU website, press release, social media,
    ensuring all contents are accurate and updated;
     coordinate with Digital Media Coordinator and Communications Department
    in Geneva to ensure smooth deliveries of content;
     support other work of communications and events manager if required;
